Capescint's "SC-MacroPixel-MCA" is an ultra-compact high-performance gamma-ray probe based on a unique new high-performance scintillator. It contains a high-performance ScintiClear SrI2(Eu) crystal (5cc, emission peak at 430nm) measuring 14x14x25.4 mm, and is read out by an ultra-compact USB MCA coupled to a SiPM array. It includes an easy-to-use GUI for Windows and Android devices. Peaks appear in the fingerprint region, which is called 200 to 1800 cm-1, representing the molecular structure of substances, including functional groups, geometric isomers, conformations, hydrogen bonding, and the state of chemical structures. The region below 200 cm-1 is referred to as the low wavenumber region.
